inSights – Institute of Innovations for Gender and Humanitarian Transformations successfully conducted two batches of three-day training sessions for national and local NGOs, which are implementing partners of IOM Bangladesh. The basic capacity-sharing program focused on humanitarian essentials and SPHERE standards in the complex humanitarian context of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. This is an initiative of IOM Bangladesh through its Localization Unit in Cox's Bazar. The trainings aimed to transfer basic knowledge on developing an understanding of Principled Humanitarian Actions, including the Code of Conduct (CoC), PSEA & Protection (General), Basic M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation), CFM (Complaint Feedback Mechanism), and SPHERE Standard for different humanitarian interventions. A total of 36 participants, 32 male and 4 female took part in the two batches of training. Participants included staff at the implementing level, as well as senior-level managers and leaders of organizations in finance and grants, human resources, project management, and monitoring and evaluation.
