Conducting a need assessment based on the identified learning needs of local humanitarian aid workers in Cox's Bazar, a contextualised training module and trainers' manual had been developed on Human Rights-based Approach to Humanitarian Action. The module had been tested effectiveness by providing training to ACT Alliance members' humanitarian programme staff in Cox's Bazar, in September 2021 partnering with ICCO Cooperation.
Training provided using this manual strengthens the knowledge and skills of RBA in humanitarian action needed by the aid workers in Cox’s Bazar, uphold human rights through applying the humanitarian principles, core humanitarian standards, and rights-based approach (RBA) in humanitarian crisis response in Cox’s Bazar.
